We're Looking for Rudolfs...
Every year f8thHOUSES all around the world converge upon f8thFEST to honor some incredible Believers. We love to recognize amazing Believers here at f8thHOUSE Ministries. One of our celebratory moments is when f8thHOUSES honor their annual "PRODIGY™" Recipient.
"PRODIGY™" Recipients are special in that they capture the essence of f8thHOUSE Ministry's Founder. While growing up, Pastor Dan was considered the black sheep of his family, ostracized and teased in school and never invited to join the team. He was the underdog, un-sung hero, the forgotten youngster. Pastor Dan was "Rudolf."
Pastor Dan never accepted who people said he was and at an early age carved out his own popularity as the brilliant nerd in the community. Stumbling on his first business, he started tutoring students, then Pastor Dan sought out Senior Citizen neighbors, unable to care for themselves and created an innovative Service Route, mowing their lawn, putting their trash out every week, running errands to the store, dry cleaners and cleaning their homes... Pastor Dan had six Senior Families he helped in the community. He then, along with his brother, Greg, started a retail candy outlet, by selling Snicker Bars, M & Ms, PayDay and BigHunk Bars to students on the campus. Little did he know but Pastor Dan was forming the man we see today.
Every year, on July 23rd, f8thHOUSES all around the world choose five to ten bright, shinning stars who have been forgotten, teased and left on the side lines. We select the, "Rudolfs" of the world in honor of our Founder, Pastor Dan's triumphant stand. These bright shinning stars enter a unique Mentor Program called, "PRODIGY." Pastor Dan started the first PRODIGY Award Tribute (PAT) by selecting from a pool of Essay Nominations, ten candidates to participate in an intriguing six month f8th Mentor Program. At the end of six months, on July 23rd, one candidate is chosen as the "PRODIGY" Recipient, winning a full four year Scholarship to our Prestigious Business University. Three others are selected as his Court. For one year, before starting his collegic run, the "PRODIGY" and his Court will promote the Message of "GREATNESS" to High Schools all around his country of residence, inspiring the Rudolfs of the world to PRESS past life's obstacles and "Achieve Unbelievable Possibilities."
